Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a statement on Thursday its forces eliminated 12 militants in a "counterterrorist operation" in Jenin and Tulkarem in the West Bank.
The military said that ten "wanted suspects" were arrested in the operation, adding the armed forces confiscated weapons and successfully disarmed explosive devices planted under the roads. Israel Border Police and Yamam, Israel's Counter-Terrorism Unit also participated in the operation.
According to the military, Muhhamad Jabber, known as Abu Shujaa who the IDF identified as being "involved in numerous terror attacks" against its forces was eliminated during the fighting.
