Japan warns about N. Korean missile launch

The Japanese government on Tuesday issued a missile launch warning that was broadcast by local television channels. It alerted its residents about projectiles from North Korea hurling toward the island country.

The citizens of Hokkaido and Tokyo were told to seek immediate shelter, however, the missile eventually flew over Japan and made an impact in the Pacific Ocean.

According to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), the unidentified projectile is believed to be a ballistic missile.
