Japan's service sector performance improved in October, with the main figure landing above the neutral 50, marking overall growth, according to a preliminary report released by S&P Global on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted figure showed the Jibun Bank Japan Services Business Activity Index at 51.1 which is a softer expansion in the sector compared to last month's figure of 53.8.
The report stated that services activity remained in expansion "but grew at the weakest pace in the year-to-date amid reports of worsening economic conditions in October."
