A pickup truck crashed into a crowd in New Orleans' Bourbon Street on Wednesday, United States media reported, with police confirming that one person lost their life, while several others are feared to have died as well.

CBS News reported that, according to witnesses, the vehicle rammed into people at high speed, with the driver then leaving the truck and starting to shoot as police shot back.
