Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's advisor, Ali Shamkhani, claimed on Friday that Tehran aims at securing a fair nuclear deal with the United States ahead of negotiations set to take place in Oman on April 12.
"Tehran seeks a real, just deal—away from media show and rhetoric. Key proposals are ready. If Washington shows determination for a deal, the path to agreement will be clear," Shamkhani said in a post on X.
The American delegation for talks is expected to be led by President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, while Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will head the Iranian team.
