Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) prepared staged videos that will allegedly show mass civilian deaths in the country, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov (pictured) revealed on Thursday.

The videos are being distributed on "controlled" social networks, he told reporters before underlining again that the Russian armed forces do not target Ukrainian cities and that "nothing threatens the civilian population."

Earlier, the Ukrainian military claimed it killed 50 Russian soldiers in the Lugansk region, along with destroying four tanks and an aircraft elsewhere.
