Kim arrives in Russia's Far East to visit fighter jet plant

North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia's Far Eastern city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur in the night between September 14 and September 15, TASS news agency reported.

According to earlier reports, the leader of North Korea is expected to visit a factory producing civil and military aircraft in the region. The visit of the North Korean supreme leader to the Russia's eastern city follows this week's meeting with the country's president, Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, Washington voiced concern over the two leaders' meeting, and warned against any arms agreement between Moscow and Pyongyang. As per the Korean Central News Agency, the Russian president has accepted the invitation to pay a return visit to North Korea.
