Kishida: Stability in Taiwan Strait paramount

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated on Thursday that peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait are critical not only for Japan but also for international stability.

"Ukraine may be East Asia tomorrow," he stated briefly after a meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Kishida previously announced an additional set of sanctions against Russia during the visit.
