Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that there are currently no plans for Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet with Chinese representative for Eurasian affairs Li Hui, who will visit Russia next week. Li will also travel to Ukraine, Poland, France, and Germany.

Peskov did not confirm claims from Turkey that the Black Sea Grain Initiative is likely to be extended as negotiations are getting closer to reaching an agreement. He insisted that "it is necessary that the second part of the deal, which concerns promises to us, be implemented."
