Kremlin to sign accession of Ukrainian territories on Sept. 30

Tomorrow, on September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin will sign documents on the accession of new territories to Russia and hold a speech, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday during a regular press briefing.

The event will take place in Moscow, inside the Grand Kremlin Palace, at 3:00 pm Moscow time (2:00 pm CET), during which Putin is also to talk to the heads of the four new regions that decided to exit Ukraine.

The news comes two days after the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Kherson and the Zaporizhzhia regions announced the majority of their population voted for joining the territory of Russia.
