European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said on Thursday that the projected 2.2% inflation rate in 2025 is "not satisfactory."
Speaking at a press conference, Lagarde underlined that the central bank's policy will remain restrictive for "as long as needed in order to make sure" that the inflation target has been hit.
She confirmed again that the ECB has not even begun to think about pausing or skipping interest rate hikes.
