Former United States President Donald Trump will "follow normal procedures" if he is indicted, his lawyer Joseph Tacopina told CNBC. An earlier report by WNBC claimed that Trump could be indicted in Manhattan "as early as next week" in relation to the payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
The report alleged that the New York Police Department, New York State Court Officers, the US Secret Service, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office are all involved in "precautionary" preparations for the event. However, Tacopina suggested Trump will surrender if he is indicted by the Manhattan grand jury.
