The man accused of allegedly plotting to assassinate former President Donald Trump, Ryan Wesley Routh, stalked the ex-president for months, the Justice Department revealed Monday.

A court filing showed that Routh tracked Trump's movements from mid-August through mid-September near his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, and his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Moreover, also today, it was revealed that Ryan Routh allegedly wrote a note titled "Dear World." The text, written months before the attempt of assassination, said he was intending to kill Trump. "This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job," the note said.
