Moscow Exchange resumes trading with 33 firm shares

The Bank of Russia has decided that, after a large-scale breakdown on February 24, company share trading will be reopened on March 24 from 9:50 am to 14:00 am local time on the Moscow Exchange with 33 company shares included in the Moscow Exchange Index (IMOEX), the Bank of Russia announced on its official website.

It was also noted that short-selling of any of these securities will be banned. In addition to that, trading on the derivatives market in contracts for the IMOEX and individual shares included in the IMOEX will be scheduled from 10:00 am to 14:00 am MSK as usual.

Some of the company shares for which trading will resume include Aeroflot, Gazprom, Lukoil, Rosneft, Sberbank, Transneft and VTB.
