European Council President Charles Michel (pictured) stated on Wednesday that there is "a lot of work to do" for the European Union's economic recovery fund agreement to be struck.
Addressing the European Parliament, he noted that the talks about the agreement have not been finalized, but stressed that a "workable solution" needs to be reached "quickly."
"Some member states want to cooperate more than others," Michel said as the bloc's leaders prepare for next week's meeting where the recovery fund and the long-term budget are expected to be focal points.
