Tesla Inc. published a video on Thursday featuring the company CEO Elon Musk addressing the workers at Gigafactory Shanghai and praising their performance as well as the quality of the vehicles produced on-site.
"The cars we produce here are not only the most efficient but also of the highest quality," stated the billionaire to the employees. He acknowledged that the manufacturer's Chinese branch had proven to be "incredibly impressive" in overcoming challenges and expressed gratitude to the workers for their accomplishments.
Musk flew to China's largest city from Beijing a day earlier, where he engaged in discussions with Foreign Minister Qin Gang regarding the development of the country's electric vehicle sector.
