Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is currently in the process of possibly becoming the CEO of Twitter, told Financial Times on Tuesday that he would likely reverse ex-US President Donald Trump's ban on the social media platform.
"Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots or spam or scam accounts," stated Musk adding that he thinks banning Trump was a "mistake because it alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice."
Musk asserted that, although he still does not own Twitter, should that happen, he said that instead of permanent bans there should be "a temporary suspension," as the former undermines "trust on Twitter." He underlined that the ban on Trump was "a morally bad decision."
