Europe up in premarket ahead of CPI data

Major European stock indexes traded with gains during premarket hours on Tuesday as market participants awaited the final report on the Eurozone's inflation in October after the preliminary data showed that consumer prices stood at 2%, rising from 1.7% reported in September. Additionally, resh data on Swiss foreign trade is expected to be published before the opening bell. In business, ThyssenKrupp AG released its fourth-quarter financial results.

The DAX added 0.11%, and the FTSE 100 improved by 0.29% at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the CAC 40 was flat and the Euro Stoxx 50 expanded by 0.11%.

The euro and the pound traded flat compared to the dollar at 7:58 am CET, selling for $1.05941 and $1.26771, respectively.
