North Korea abolished laws on inter-Korean economic cooperation during the 30th plenary meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA), KCNA reported on Thursday.
Pyongyang abolished "the law of North Korea on north-south economic cooperation, the law on the special zone for international tours of Mount Kumgang and regulations for its enforcement and agreements on north-south economic cooperation," the news agency reported.
South Korea's Ministry of Unification stated that the government has no "imminent plan" to respond to this move, stressing that the abolition of these laws by Pyongyang was expected and that it will "isolate North Korea further," Yonhap reported.
