North Korea launched multiple ballistic missiles toward the Yellow Sea on Monday, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The JCS reported that the missiles were fired from Hwanghae Province but did not provide further details, such as the missile type or range. In response to the incident, the South Korean military stepped up its monitoring efforts and is maintaining a heightened state of readiness.
