NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg (pictured) confirmed Tuesday that the organization will provide Ukraine with funds to combat drones Russia uses against its soldiers, including those from Iran.

"The most important thing we can do is deliver on what allies have promised, to step up and deliver even more air defense systems," he said. "NATO will in the coming days deliver counter-drone systems to counter the specific threat of drones, including those from Iran."

On the risk of using nuclear weapons, Stoltenberg said that the alliance needs to take the risk of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine seriously, "although it is not high."
