Houthis declare naval blockade of Haifa port

The Houthi movement announced its intention to impose a naval blockade of Israel's port of Haifa amid the ongoing tensions between the two parties.

"All companies with ships present in or heading to this port are hereby notified that, as of the time of this announcement, the aforementioned port has been included in the target bank," the group's military spokesman, Yehya Saree, shared on social media.

Previously, the Houthis tried to enforce an aerial blockade of Israel by attacking the Ben-Gurion International Airport.
