Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that the Israeli military will "continue to hit Hezbollah and sent a message to the Lebanese citizens that "our war is not with you, our war is with Hezbollah." Over 500 people in southern Lebanon have been killed since yesterday in Israel's airstrikes.
Netanyahu also claimed that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is leading the Lebanese people "to the brink of the abyss." He called on them to "free themselves from the grip" of Hezbollah and blamed the militant group for the current conflict. "I told you yesterday to evacuate the houses where he put a missile in the living room and a rocket in the garage. He who has a missile in his living room and a rocket in his garage will not have a home," he said, referring to the warnings sent by Israel to the Lebanese people to evacuate just hours before the strikes started.
