Netflix Inc’s President of World Advertising Jeremi Gorman shared, during a presentation to advertisers held at an annual event, that the company's ad tier, which was introduced in November 2022, has almost reached 5 million global monthly users. The tier costs $6.99 per month.
Netflix executives revealed that they would like to work with advertisers to come up with new ways to advertise. Co-CEO Ted Sarandos shared an idea where an ad would be playing out over the course of several days, which is not possible on "linear TV because people don’t live on one channel."
"No other entertainment company aspires to create great movies and shows across so many genres in so many countries, and for such a broad, diverse audience," Bela Bajaria, chief content officer, commented.
