North Korea launches 2 missiles into East Sea

North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea (Sea of Japan) on Saturday, according to South Korean and Japanese militaries. It is the fourth time Pyongyang has launched missiles in the last seven days.

"While strengthening our monitoring and vigilance, our military is maintaining a full readiness posture in close cooperation with the United States," South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement, according to Yonhap.
