The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) revealed on Wednesday that its global economic growth estimates for 2025 and 2026 were unchanged from the previous month's forecast and stood at 3.1% and 3.2% respectively.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in the United States is expected to be 2.4% in 2025 and 2.3% in 2026 with both these figures unchanged from February's report. At the same time, it was estimated that the Eurozone's GDP will stand at 0.9% this year and 1.1% in the next, unchanged from last month. Economic forecast for China also remained identical to the prior month's report to land at 4.7% for 2025 and 4.6% for 2026.

"It remains to be seen how and to what extent potential tariffs and other policy measures will play out. So far, they are not anticipated to materially impact current underlying growth assumptions, but the outcome of potentially further rising uncertainties and the scope and significance of potential tariffs and other policy measures will need close monitoring," OPEC said in the report.
