Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated in a post on social media platform X that he vetoed the decision on the European Union's long-term budget aid program for Ukraine worth €50 billion.
He said that he also vetoed the revision of the multi-year budget, saying that "we will return to this issue next year at the EU summit after appropriate preparations."
Earlier this week, Orban stated that his country will remain opposed to Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
