Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's right-wing party lost support from the electorate on Sunday compared to the previous European Parliament elections.
Although it won 11 seats, giving it a representative majority before the European bloc, it only achieved 43.8% of the vote, down from 52% in 2019. The center-right Tisza managed to secure 30.7% of votes or seven seats, according to partial results. The DK–MSZP Alliance obtained two places and MH one.
Earlier during the day, Orban said that he hoped "it will be a peace majority as the outcome of this election."
