Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said on Wednesday that the escalating Israeli operations in the West Bank will lead to "dire and dangerous" consequences.

The official stressed that the United States bears responsibility for the aggression and killing of the Palestinian people in the West Bank, as Washington provides protection and support to Israel.

Furthermore, the spokesman urged the international community to take necessary steps to stop the Israeli war against the Palestinian people. "The world must take immediate and urgent action to curb this extremist government that poses a threat to the stability of the region and the world as a whole," he noted.
