Pentagon chief Austin to visit Israel next week

United States Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is set to visit Israel next week, Ynet news reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, the US official will head to Tel Aviv with a group of senior officials that will also tour the region, amid reports that the Biden administration is pushing Israel to finish the war on Hamas.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan it is also expected in Israel at the end of this week.
