Russia's defense ministry on Sunday said Moscow would consider renewing the Black Sea Grain Initiative after an investigation is conducted into an attack on its fleet in Crimea.

"First of all, you need to find out all the circumstances of what happened. This is a complete disgrace, all the conditions that were previously agreed are violated," Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko told reporters in Moscow, according to Interfax.

The news comes after Russia on Saturday indefinitely suspended its participation in the deal over Ukraine and Britain allegedly firing at its ships in the corridor's safe zone.
