Russian President Vladimir Putin and Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico met in the Kremlin, marking their first personal talks since 2016, Russian media reported.
Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov previously mentioned that the two aimed to discuss gas transit issues.
This comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky chose not to extend the gas transit agreement through Ukraine.
