The Russian Direct Investment Fund announced on Wednesday that combining the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine with jabs developed by AstraZeneca, China's Sinopharm and Moderna can be considered safe.
Citing studies conducted in Argentina and Russia, the RDIF noted that the combination of Sputnik Light with all aforementioned vaccines proved to cause no serious adverse effects and is therefore proven to be safe.
"The Sputnik Light vaccine can be effectively used in combination with other vaccines which is proven by studies in Argentina and other countries. RDIF is ready to partner with other producers for further mix&match studies in other parts of the world," RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev commented.
