Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Head Kirill Dmitriev remarked on Friday that his country could open for the so-called vaccine tourism, which involves people going to other territories to receive a jab against COVID-19, as early as in July.
Dmitriev also expressed his hope that those inoculated with the Gamaleya Research Institute's vaccine, Sputnik V, will be able to travel to as many countries as possible, including the members of the European Union.
Earlier in the day, Dmitriev stated the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has so far not given any negative feedback on Sputnik V and that he hoped the decision on its use in the EU will "not be politicized."
