Israel targets military sites near Syria's Damascus

The Israeli military launched airstrikes targeting military sites near Syria's capital of Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Thursday.

"Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on military positions and posts," in the vicinity of the city of Al-Kiswah and the village of Muqaylibah, according to the war monitor. The observatory further said that there are still no reports on the casualties.

The new attacks come less than 24 hours after Israel conducted airstrikes on several military sites across Syria, leaving at least 13 people dead.
