Russia downs cruise missiles over Crimea

Russian-appointed head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said on Friday that air defense systems destroyed cruise missiles detected over Crimea on Friday.

In a Telegram post, Aksyonov called on the residents in Crimea to "stay calm." The missiles are said to have hit the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol.

The day before, Oleg Kryuchkov, Aksyonov's advisor that Ukraine's attempt to attack the Saky airbase in Crimea failed.
