Russia's Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warned on Tuesday that NATO's increasing presence near the country's borders "is no longer a figure of speech."
Moscow, therefore, must be ready for "aggressive actions" by NATO, he said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council for Science and Education, according to the TASS news agency.
Producing "high-tech, powerful equipment - both military and dual-use" should be a part of such preparations, the former Russian president and prime minister underscored.
