Russia to retaliate to EU states' entry restrictions

Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Thursday that it intends to respond to the decision made by Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to restrict the entry of Russian citizens holding European Union visas.

"The response will be in the interests of our country. We will respond in a way that will be beneficial to our country and our people," ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said. She added that Russia does not intend to "close itself off from EU residents."
