Kiev and Russia are "halfway there" on reaching a possible agreement on Ukraine's future demilitarization, Vladimir Medinsky (pictured), Russia's leading negotiator in talks, said on Friday.
Ukraine's future outside of the NATO alliance, as well as its neutral status, are the two points in which the two sides' stances converge the most, Medinsky told the press, as translated by TASS.
The "nuances" regarding the future security guarantees for Kiev remain to be determined, he concluded.
