Certain portions of the Russian Armed Forces begin to return to their initial military garrisons as the drills come to an end, Ministry of Defense representative Igor Konashenkov said in an official statement on Tuesday.
More specifically, Konashenkov noted that contingents of the Southern and Western Military Districts have already begun loading for transport and will return to their permanent points of deployment in the following days.
Konashenkov also stated that a live firing will take place at the Belarus Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground on February 19 as part of the Allied Resolve-2022 exercises. He underlined that a joint force of Russian and Belarusian detachments will on that occasion be working out issues related to repelling aggressive actions as part of a defensive operation.
