Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi announced on Monday that the country's retaliation to Hezbollah for its reported violations of the ceasefire between the two countries is "ready to be activated at any moment."
Speaking during a visit made to the troops stationed in southern Lebanon, Halevi said that the IDF will "attack strongly in the face of Hezbollah's grave violations, and we will continue to do so."
Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted the country will "respond strongly" to Hezbollah's "serious violation of the ceasefire."
