United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer promised to take the administration's climate and social spending bill to the Senate floor in January, Politico reported.
Schumer told his Democrat colleagues in a private caucus call that the $1.7 trillion will be up for a vote despite some party members opposing the bill.
"I know we are all frustrated at this outcome, however, we are not giving up on Build Back Better. Period. We won't stop working on it until we pass a bill," Schumer said.
