Shoygu orders destruction of Kiev's long-range arms

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said, during his inspection of the Vostok group, that the priority of the unit is to take out Ukrainian long-range weapons used to shell the Donbas civilian settlements and grain facilities.

"Army General Sergei Shoygu (...) instructed the commander to prioritize the destruction of enemy long-range missiles and artillery with high-precision weapons, from which shelling of residential areas of Donbas settlements and deliberate arson of wheat fields, as well as grain storage facilities," the Defense Ministry noted in a statement.

Earlier today, the Donetsk People's Republic representative office reported that Ukrainian forces fired 20 shells at the DPR settlement of Panteleimonivka and eight shells at the village of Verkhnotoretske.
