Slovakia confirms it sent 13 MiGs to Ukraine

Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad (pictured) announced on Monday that his country has delivered the remainder of the 13 MiG fighter jets it promised to the crisis-hit Ukraine.

Nad stressed in his Facebook post that the remaining jets were transferred "by land with the utmost safety in mind."

Slovakia promised back in March it will send its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine to help it overcome Russia's military operation.
