JAPAN METEROLOGICAL AGENCY

Small tsunami waves got to the shores of Japan's Izu Islands on Thursday following the 6.6-magnitude earthquake that shook the ground nearby.

The Japan Meteorological Agency, which issued a tsunami warning right after the quake happened around 11:00 am local time, lifted the advisory at 1:15 pm local time. It insisted that, even after the waves approached the shores, there was no damage nor casualties reported.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck Texas on Sunday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).185 kilometers west of the American city of Odessa, at a depth of 10 kilometers.There have been no immediate reports of potential damage or casualties.
