The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) informed several asset managers there is a possibility that spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will begin trading on Tuesday, July 23, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Tuesday.
According to people familiar with the matter, the SEC is set to declare the cryptocurrency exchange's ETF registration valid on Monday if it receives all the necessary paperwork. After that, the sources said, the ETFs will hit the trading market.
Previously, it was reported that the SEC could approve the registration of Ethereum's ETFs soon.
