NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg emphasized on Thursday that Ukraine's issue in its conflict with Russia was not a lack of "courage," but rather a shortage of ammunition and other crucial military resources.
Stoltenberg added during his annual report speech for 2023 from Brussels that the "unprecedented assistance of NATO allies helped Ukraine survive as an independent state, but Ukraine needs even more support."
He urged NATO allies to increase the provision of ammunition and weapons to Ukraine, emphasizing that it is a matter of "political will to make the decisions." Stoltenberg also hailed certain countries' willingness to supply longer-range missiles and F-16s to Ukraine.
