The Nasdaq 100 reached on Friday heights not seen since April 2022 as the tech sector continued its rally sparked by Nvidia's much-better-than-expected results posted earlier this week. Semiconductor company Marvell Technology yesterday also beat its quarterly projections and pushed the Nasdaq 100 further into the green with a 30% jump.
The Dow Jones soared 1% or 326 points, the Nasdaq 100 surged 2.45% and the S&P 500 rose by 1.26% at 12:43 pm ET.
The euro was 0.10% lower than the dollar, going for 1.07144 a minute later.
