United States President Donald Trump will consider the final proposal for the social media platform TikTok, CBS News reported on Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
According to the report, the Trump administration is currently completing plans for potential investors, which are likely to include Blackstone Inc. and Oracle Corporation. The key meeting is expected to take place tomorrow in the Oval Office and should be attended by Vice President JD Vance, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, the news outlet reported.
Trump set April 5 as the deadline for TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, to divest its stake in the app or face a ban in the US market.
