Trump: AP using 'ridiculous, obsolete' phrases

US President Donald Trump continued criticizing the Associated Press (AP) on Tuesday for its use of language he considered "ridiculous" and "obsolete," particularly regarding its stance on immigration and other sensitive topics. Trump expressed frustration over what he sees as the AP's refusal to reflect the legal and political “realities,” especially with respect to the evolving terminology around the US-Mexico border.

In his remarks, Trump pointed to the AP's continued use of outdated phrases, claiming they fail to keep up with changing laws and public sentiment. He also accused the AP of showing bias in its coverage of him, asserting that the media outlet had been wrong on numerous issues, including the 2020 election.

Earlier, the AP was blocked from sending a reporter to Oval Office due to its refusal to use "Gulf of America" instead of "Gulf of Mexico," in line with the current administration's stance.
